Summary:
Gloria Bhutané is the beloved yet formidable Third Oracle of the Gilded Gaze. Once the First Oracle and a high-ranking Senator, she now controls the narrative pulse of Plate Three as its most trusted diviner-broadcaster. Her illusion-magic paints her visions live on-air, turning prophecy into programming. Elegant, sharp, and always composed, Gloria is the voice the city believes, even when they shouldn’t.

Tomorrow Tonight with Gloria Bhutané

Plate Three sleeps better when Gloria speaks. And in Wuh-Zhei, where prophecy shapes policy and dreams cost real money, sleep is no small thing.

Gloria Bhutané, the Third Oracle, former Senator, and current host of Tomorrow Tonight that plays on OGREvision, has long been the city’s most beloved prophet-with-a-punchline. Broadcasting from Citrine Three since before most of us could cast Mage Hand, Gloria has turned late-night divination into a civic ritual. Her show opens with illusion-slicked monologues (“We checked the timeline, and yes, Plate Five is still on fire”) and closes with interviews that often feel more like interrogations. If a story matters in Wuh-Zhei, it breaks on her stage. If it breaks elsewhere, she still gets the last word.

She is, in every sense, the Clear Voice.

The Oracle We Trust, the Monarch We Accept

Gloria lives on Plate Two, not quite the peak, but close enough to keep an eye on it. Her Monarch heritage isn’t something she flaunts; it’s something she lets you remember. Her wings are ceremonial, midnight with white highlights and too delicate for real flight. But then again, Gloria doesn’t need to fly. She floats on relevance.

She remains a senior figure within the Gilded Gaze, and many suspect the Oracle Group still bends toward her light when Nero veers too far into the surreal. She never openly challenges him. She never needs to. Where Nero is spectacle, Gloria is the schedule. Where he uncorks prophecy in poetic riddles, she brings you bullet points in 4K.

Enemies Without Saying So

Bhutané rarely names her enemies. She doesn’t have to.

When she says, “Some spells don’t belong in school libraries,” everyone knows she means Completion magic and the Nameless who cast it. When she interviews a monarch necromancer from Plate One, she lets the camera linger on their coat of arms just long enough for Plate Three to cheer. When she jokes about Transmutation safety regulations, no one in the Rhodonite District misses the warning.

And yet, her most brilliant trick is never breaking the spell of inclusion. You watch her because you feel like you’re in on the joke, even if the joke is on you.

Still Prophetic, Still Political

Sources inside the Gilded Gaze claim Gloria’s visions haven’t diminished, if anything, they’ve gotten sharper. But her politics have softened. Or maybe they’ve just gotten smarter.

She openly praises Sutherland Dash and the Paragons. She nods with practiced affection whenever Matilda Brightside’s conjured goodwill sweeps through the city. And yet, if you watch her eyes during those segments, you can see the thoughts she’s not saying.

To the public, she is no longer a politician. To the politicians, she is still the most powerful woman on Plate Three.

Why Your Party Might Care

  • The Broadcast Never Stops.
Every night, Tomorrow Tonight airs, no matter what. Floods, riots, demon incursions, even Unraveling spikes. In every timeline, Gloria Bhutané still goes live. If you want to know what the city is really afraid of, she’s already said it… with a punchline.
  • She Sees Clearer Than Anyone.
The First Oracle may outrank her, but Gloria’s predictions are never wrong. If your party needs answers about the future, about the unraveling, a faction’s next move, or a way out, she might already know.
  • Favors in the Spotlight.
Want to leak something? Shift public opinion? Force a political hand? Appearing on Tomorrow Tonight is surely the fastest way to spread the word.
